Today the SLMTA (secondary librarians of Davis District) spent the day at the Educational Technology Center learning to use the Novus Solutions Content Management System to design web pages. This web-based web design software should make it much easier for all teachers (and hopefully all of our school libraries) to create and maintain web pages.

After school the faculty gathered in the library for the closing session of this years Accreditation Visit. The Accreditation Team gave us their list of “Commendations and Recommendations” with a final written report still to come. The Recommendations sounded a lot like “keep doing the stuff we just Commended you for.”

Finally the day comes when all of the meetings, brainstorming, debating, writing, rewriting, planning, consulting, organizing, and printing must be put up to be evaluated by six strangers who don’t know each other.
